Updates
25 August 2008 - New Art (Finally!)
With the help of some breathtaking music, I have managed to coax my muse out of hiding long enough to procure two new photo manipulations. Aside from that, the updates are pretty minor. I'm still determined to give Runaway Muse a makeover in time for Autumn, so keep your eyes open!
Art
Two new photo manipulations. First is an attempt at realism and features the lovely Alexis Bledel, and second is a more simple piece featuring...a statue. Go figure. The text in the latter is rather random, but sounded pretty at the time.
Writings
Nothing new. However, I am happy (and somewhat hesitant) to announce that this year I plan to participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), a challenge my friend introduced me to which encourages participants to -- you guessed it -- write a novel in a month. Being an avid procrastinator, you can see why I'm nervous. I may or not post novel excerpts on Runaway Muse in the future, depending on how happy I am with the results. ;)

Great news! My dearest cyber-friend (who prefers to be known as Mitowira online) has put the finishing touches on her site, and can now be found on the affies page as a sister site. Also, please welcome another new affiliate: Iris of Horizon Road. I have long been jealous of her skills and couldn't be happier now that she's an affie of Runaway Muse. :)
